Jamie served our country as an Intelligence Specialist in the Navy Reserves; as a CTE Instructor, she is licensed to teach in the medical as well as the veterinary field.
Among her many achievements, she has earned a Bachelor (BS) in Psychology and Biology, a Masters degree (MS) in Holistic Care, and a Doctorate in Animal Naturopathy. Last but not least, Jamie is also a certified Canine Fitness Instructor/Evaluator.
Jamie possesses twenty years of experience working with animals of various kinds; she especially enjoys working with canines of all shapes and sizes. She excels in working with hunting breeds, most of all hunting retrievers.
In her spare time, she enjoys working and showing her own dogs “Archimedes” and “Octavius” in hunting and nose work trials and has earned many titles with them; she is currently working toward her Master Hunter with both of her dogs.
She has also worked with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Department and Red Cross Disaster Services in Search and Rescue (SAR).

Jamie went through the NAHRA, HRC as well as AKC Judges Program and is a certified Hunt Trial Judge for these organizations.
Enhancing our team’s dynamic expertise is Jamie Smith, PhD, a distinguished Dog Behaviorist and trainer. Jamie’s academic credentials are as impressive as they are relevant; holding a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Biology, a Master’s in Holistic Care, and a Doctorate in Animal Naturopathy. Jamie is also a certified Canine Fitness Instructor/Evaluator, bringing over 20 years of experience to Quality K-9. Her holistic approach to dog training and behavior modification, grounded in a deep understanding of animal health and psychology, complements our team’s diverse skill set, ensuring a well-rounded training program that addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological needs of our canine clients.
