Angelika is a well-known competitive dog trainer and highly respected by working-dog enthusiasts throughout the world. She is especially known for her vast knowledge of the German Shepherd Dog.
Born and raised in Bremen, Germany, Angelika turned her lifelong passion and love for dogs and dog training into her profession when working for the United Schutzhund Clubs of America. She made her mark as head of the Breed Registry Department of the United Schutzhund Clubs of America and was one of the annual USA Sieger Show’s main organizers.
Angelika has raised, trained, shown, and owned numerous dogs of various breeds throughout her life, in Germany and the United States.
She is currently contributing her expertise to Quality K-9, where she holds the role of a business partner. Most importantly, she is the “heart” of the operation, always available to provide support, offer a friendly smile, and words of encouragement. Angelika brings vast experience as a translator for German judges in working trials, conformation shows, and breed surveys. She also specializes in translating German pedigrees, breed survey reports, and correspondence.
In her spare time, Angelika trains and competes with her Belgian Malinois “Sterlin” in IGP, formerly known as Schutzhund.
Angelika obtained her dog training certification as a dog trainer through the SV German Shepherd Breed Club, Verein fuer Deutsche Schaeferhunde (SV) located in Augsburg, Germany, which is the oldest and most distinguished German Shepherd training association in the world.
She is also a licensed CGC (Canine Good Citizen) Evaluator for the AKC (American Kennel Club)

With over 30 years of experience, Angelika brings a wealth of knowledge to our team, especially in high-level competition dog training. As an AKC-CGC Evaluator, her standards of excellence are unparalleled. Born and raised in Germany, Angelika’s training philosophy has been shaped by the world-class dog trainers she’s worked and learned from across the globe. Her approach to dog training, particularly in obedience, is heavily influenced by motivational methods, ensuring that training is not only effective but also a positive experience for both dog and handler.
